Posts on the books we're doing in our co-op based on FIAR

I have a couple posts done now, regarding the FIAR books we are doing in our co-op.  I have very limited time to do stuff and with only 2 sessions per book, I have to be very persnickety about what projects we can do.  I would love to delve in deeper with the booklets, activities and crafts-but alas-just not to be.  Hope you can glean a few ideas for your own studies.

I will also have a another post on our last book, Miss Rumphius, which the teens will be teaching...and I will have another post showing how I decided to pull the goodies together into a book for the kids.  My son has a FIAR lapbook that we are still working thru-so he has plenty of room to add his booklets/projects there, and so I will showcase that as well, once I get the 3rd book completed from the co-op.  The nice thing is that even though I have limited time, I am still able to get a few things done and the kids are getting drawn into the stories...which is huge!  :0)
